# Request API Access

The Sunset API is currently available by invitation only. We're onboarding integration partners on a rolling basis.

## Who should apply?

The API is designed for organizations that manage estate settlements at scale:

* **Estate law firms** looking to automate case intake and probate workflows
* **Financial advisory practices** that need to monitor estate accounts and distributions
* **Trust companies** managing multiple estates simultaneously
* **Insurance providers** automating claims verification and document collection
* **Software companies** embedding estate management into existing platforms

## How to request access

Send an email to [api\_request@hellosunset.com](mailto:api_request@hellosunset.com) with:

* Your name and organization
* A brief description of your intended use case
* Estimated volume (number of estates managed per month)

Our team will review your request and follow up within a few business days.

## What you'll receive

Once approved, you'll get:

* **Staging environment access** — a sandbox to build and test your integration
* **Technical documentation** — full access to this API reference
* **Developer support** — direct access to our engineering team during onboarding
